This package is designed to ensure extended range for people in a Local Radio Network (LRN). It is a mobile VHF only radio that can be setup in your car or truck, with an antenna attached magnetically to the fender or roof. It can also be used at home. It will run off your car battery using the cigarette lighter socket. If you use it at home you will need a DC power source (ie battery or power station).
The antenna is pre-tuned and includes a magnetic base and the necessary coaxial cable.
