Digital Republic

(2022-04-30)
There is an almost organic intention within the Freedom Movement to establish a decentralized parallel society.

It is seen as the best remedy to our current situation – where all the institutions have fallen into the hands of corrupt Globalists who are bound and determined to fulfill their long-planned agenda, most recently entitled The Great Reset. The solution is to establish a new and pristine societal arrangement to replace the old order.

The intention is clear. The question is how do we facilitate its realization.

The idea is simply this – we establish our own ‘internet’ and use it as the backbone of a new political and socio-economic structure – our parallel society.

We use it to facilitate all aspects of our lives, as we do now with the Internet, except we do it on a platform that is designed, built and controlled by us, not them, to meet our requirements, not theirs.

It is built and operated to make it possible for the general public to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of their various undertakings without compromising privacy and security. Interactions and transactions of all manner would be handled with ease and security.

It also forms the foundation for self-governance. A secure technology platform of verified users provides an ideal venue for people to engage in the decision-making process. The detailed rules of engagement still need to be determined, obviously, but it should also be obvious that it will be possible to implement whatever is determined to be the self-governance protocol. It should even be possible to implement a diverse set of processes if specified – something for everybody. After all, in the world of technology “anything is possible given enough time and resources.”

Importantly, it is further proposed that the process by which this new Internet comes into being provides an opportunity to sort out the self-governance protocols themselves.

Another important consideration, is that ownership and control would be decentralized. A network of community-owned servers connected wirelessly (possibly by satellite) would form the backbone. All content and data is owned and controlled by the individual, with an exchange in place for those who are prepared to share information, whether for free or for a fee.

Bringing it about could be accomplished by undertaking these three actions:
    • establishing a ham radio network (or other distributed fallback communication capability) which could then be upgraded to our new Internet when the time comes
    • investigate current community-building platforms (Librti.com, Thrive, etc.) to determine if any can form the foundation of the new network and begin consolidating people on that platform, so that it is just a matter of migration when the time comes
    • establish a team with relevant specialties to address all the various considerations, including technology, protocols, ecosystem, governance, etc.

The next step would be to determine if this proposal should be pursued and establish a team to start the ball rolling.
